MIAMI – Oct. 22, 2015 – North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has promoted Kelly McCarel to director of marketing and educational programs. She formerly served as NATIC’s industry education and research specialist and has 15 years of experience as a marketing professional and B-to-B journalist.
“Kelly has nearly 10 years’ experience educating title agents and settlement service providers via print and digital marketing media, as well as experience with e-marketing campaigns and public relations,” said Emilio Fernandez, NATIC president. “As title agents plan their strategies to grow and achieve results in the marketplace, they expect to receive the majority of their news and education from their underwriter. Kelly is one of the best people in the industry to bring that to our agents.
“In addition, she is very qualified to effectively communicate the company’s primary messaging and goals in an educational and consultative role because of her settlement services and lending industry experience, as well as her ability to plan and execute marketing strategies,” added Fernandez.
Prior to joining NATIC in July 2014, McCarel served in multiple leadership roles at October Research LLC, an award-winning multimedia publishing company that serves the real estate, settlement services and mortgage lending industries. She previously managed a diverse platform of marketing and communications programs for an international health care company and developed educational and news content for several legal publications, as well as national real estate, mortgage and title insurance publications.
“This position provides me with an opportunity to assist NATIC’s agents through various mediums that will help them reach their business goals and remain compliant,” said McCarel. “Our efforts to communicate through multiple channels, such as websites, social media, and digital and live training, affords our agents the opportunity to access materials in a format and at a time that is most convenient for them.
“I’m especially pleased with the launch of a series of CE/CLE webinars for title agents over the past year, as well as the relaunch of the LookingNorth newsletter as a monthly publication with in-depth articles and relevant news items,” she added. “I managed these new initiatives and I’m looking forward to leading a team that continues to deliver the marketing tools, educational resources and programs needed for agents to flourish in today’s market.”
McCarel is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communication. She may be reached via the NATIC office at 7550 Lucerne Drive, Suite 401, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, telephone number (440) 590-6504.
